OUR MISSION — Making Keizer Better Foundation raises funds to disburse to Keizer-based 501(3)c philanthropies and to fund scholarships for Keizer high school students.

OUR ORGANIZATION — Making Keizer Better Foundation is operated by an executive committee and a board comprised of Keizer business people and residents.  The organization is 100% volunteer with no compensation paid for any position.

OUR FUND RAISING — The primary source of funds is RIVERfair, a community festival held at Keizer Rapids Park.  The inaugural RIVERfair was held in August, 2008.  Money from the first event was donated to  help purchase playground equipment for the park which benefits all children.

OUR EVENT — RIVERfair 2009 is scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The one-day event features live music, arts and crafts, an art fair, food, a bicycle rodeo, a 3K run and more.  Planning is underway.
